About the Role University Cancer and Blood Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care physician to lead our growing Live Well program. This program provides comprehensive support across the full continuum of cancer care—from diagnosis to survivorship—offering services such as social support, transportation assistance, and specialized palliative care. Within the palliative care component, you\'ll work alongside two Palliative Care-certified Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver patient-centered, interdisciplinary care focused on quality of life and symptom management. The Live Well program is a vital extension of our mission to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient who walks through our doors. About the Practice and Mission University Cancer & Blood Center has been committed to serving the medical oncology and hematology needs of the local Athens community and the Northeast Georgia region. Our practice aims to provide the highest level of care while addressing broader needs of patients and families. Services include Hematology/Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Theranostics, in-house pharmacy, and a robust clinical trials program, the second-largest in the state.
