Nonbedside Careers is operated by Nonbedside Careers (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our job board. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

By using Nonbedside Careers, you agree to this Privacy Policy.


1. Who we are

Nonbedside Careers is a job board operated by Nonbedside Careers. For the purposes of data protection law, Nonbedside Careers is the data controller of personal data collected through Nonbedside Careers.

2. What data we collect

We collect different types of personal data depending on how you use Nonbedside Careers.

Job seekers

If you create a profile or submit a job application, we collect:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and location
  • CV/resume, cover letter, and application responses
  • Work history, education, and skills information
  • Any other information you choose to include in your profile or application

Employers and recruiters

If you post job listings or manage applications, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and contact details
  • Company name and information
  • Job listing content and recruitment activity

All visitors

When you visit Nonbedside Careers, we automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Referring website

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Operate and maintain Nonbedside Careers
  • Connect job seekers with relevant employers
  • Process and manage job applications
  • Send job alerts and notifications (where you have opted in)
  • Respond to your queries and support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse
  • Improve and develop the platform
  • Comply with our legal obligations

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), we process your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:

  • Contract — processing is necessary to provide the services you have requested (e.g. managing your account, processing applications)
  • Legitimate interests — we have a legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving Nonbedside Careers (e.g. analytics, fraud prevention). We have balanced these interests against your rights and they do not override them
  • Consent — where we rely on consent (e.g. marketing emails, non-essential cookies), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
  • Legal obligation — processing is required to comply with applicable law (e.g. financial record-keeping)

5. Sharing your data

With employers and recruiters

When you submit a job application, your application data is shared with the employer or recruiter who posted the listing. This sharing is necessary to provide the service.

With Job Boardly

Nonbedside Careers is built and operated using Job Boardly, a platform provided by Glacier Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 47 687 105 184), an Australian company. Job Boardly acts as a data processor on behalf of Nonbedside Careers, providing the technical infrastructure for this job board. Job Boardly’s infrastructure is primarily hosted in the United States via Amazon Web Services and Railway.

With other third parties

We may also share your data with:

  • Professional advisors (e.g. legal or technical support)
  • Regulators or law enforcement, where required by law
  • Other parties, with your explicit consent

We do not sell your personal data.


6. International data transfers

Nonbedside Careers operates using Job Boardly’s platform, which is headquartered in Australia and hosts data primarily in the United States. If you are located in the EEA or UK, your personal data will be transferred outside your jurisdiction.

These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission under Decision 2021/914. For UK users, transfers are protected by the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) issued by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or by SCCs supplemented by the UK Addendum, as applicable.


7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for the following periods:

Data type Retention period
Job seeker profile and application data 12 months from last activity, or until you delete your account
Employer and recruiter account and listing data 12 months from last activity, or until you delete your account
Billing records 7 years (as required by applicable tax law)
Server and access logs 90 days

Dormant account notification: Before deleting any account under this retention schedule, we will send a warning email to your registered email address notifying you that your account is scheduled for deletion. If you log in within 30 days of that notification, your account will be retained and the retention period will reset. “Activity” means any login, profile update, job application, job posting, or other action taken through your account.

After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@remotenurseconnection.com.


8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data.

All users:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data

EU/EEA and UK users (under GDPR and UK GDPR):

  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions)
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

9. EU and UK users

Applicable law

If you are in the EEA, your rights are governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). If you are in the UK, your rights are governed by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

EU/EEA and UK representative

If Nonbedside Careers is not established in the EEA or UK but processes personal data of EEA or UK residents, Nonbedside Careers may be required to appoint its own EU/EEA and/or UK representative under Article 27 GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. Nonbedside Careers is solely responsible for complying with this obligation and for designating its own representative where required.

Separately, the underlying Job Boardly platform provider (Glacier Systems Pty Ltd) has appointed DataRep as its EU/EEA and UK representative under Article 27 GDPR and UK GDPR:

DataRep has locations in each of the 27 EU countries, and in Norway and Iceland in the European Economic Area (EEA). The above contact details are provided for transparency and relate solely to Job Boardly’s role as our platform provider — they do not replace any representative Nonbedside Careers is required to appoint for its own controller activities.

Supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority:

  • UK users: Contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk

11. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage technologies on Nonbedside Careers to operate the site and, depending on what we have chosen to enable, to support analytics or advertising.

The cookies that may be set fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (keeping you logged in, security tokens, load balancing, bot protection, and the cookie that remembers your consent choice). These are always on.
  • Functional — non-essential preferences that improve your experience (for example, your language preference). Set only when you actively choose them.
  • Analytics — help us understand how people use the site (for example, Google Analytics or similar tools). These are only present if we, as the operator of Nonbedside Careers, have chosen to integrate them. They are gated behind your consent.

Our cookie banner

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

Our consent record

When you make a choice, we keep a short record (held on our behalf by Job Boardly, our platform provider) so we can demonstrate that we asked for and obtained (or did not obtain) your consent in line with applicable law. The record contains a pseudonymous ID, a timestamp, your truncated IP address, your browser user-agent string, the version of the banner you saw, and the choice you made. We retain consent records for up to 24 months from the date of the choice.


12. Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously. Job Boardly, as our platform provider, implements industry-standard security measures including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security monitoring. However, no system is completely secure — we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login details safe.


13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on Nonbedside Careers. The latest version will always be available on this page.
