Qualifications & Responsibilities
Must has a high school diploma or its equivalent
Must have at least one year of clinical experience in a facility setting
Must have a strong interest in art, music, educational development or hands on experiences dealing with a geriatric, youth or disabled population
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide activity programs appropriate to the age‑related needs of the residents
Assist in the preparation of activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs and events
Maintain documentation records ie: Attendance forms, Room Visits logs, Material Check list, food requisitions and requested time off, program planning sheets Quapi Root Cause sheets
Assist in planning, implementing, and continued performance of recreational programs in accordance with the resident assessment and person‑centered plan of care
All other duties assigned by the Recreation Director or Administrator
