Pay Range Base pay range $19.65/hr - $24.65/hr
Responsibilities Administer medication and treatments in a safe, organized manner.
Document medication administration and review electronic health records for pertinent resident information.
Coordinate medication updates from the Resident Care Director (RCD) or Wellness Nurse.
Ensure medications are administered according to the Six Rights of Medication Pass and times.
Maintain confidentiality of resident medication information and report concerns to the RCD or Wellness Nurse.
Restock medication carts after medication passes and assist in checking medication regardless of packaging system.
Count all narcotics with another Medication Care Manager (MCM) or Lead Care Manager (LCM) each shift and report discrepancies.
Maintain and clean the Medication Room, medication carts, and treatment carts for neatness, availability, and expiration checks.
Participate in daily Cross Over meetings and communicate resident concerns to the RCD.
Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and practice safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications High School diploma or GED accepted; state/provincial regulations may require certification.
Maintain CPR, First Aid, and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations.
At least 18 years of age and previous experience working with seniors preferred.
Desire to serve and care for seniors.
