Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN – Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care-Days
Join the Jansen Hospice team at NewYork‑Presbyterian Westchester and help us deliver superior customer service to our diverse local community. As an essential part of our Hospice Department, you will join our dynamic nursing staff providing top‑notch nursing care. Nurses are strong partners to renowned physicians in this Department—many named among “America’s Top Doctors.” This is a full‑time position serving Westchester and Bronx County, caring for a diverse patient population and supporting patients and families at the end of life.
You will work with a strong, compassionate, growing interdisciplinary team—medical director, chaplain, nurses, social workers, rehab therapists, and a speech‑language pathologist—to deliver quality end‑of‑life care in patients' homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.
Preferred Criteria
One year’s experience as an LPN for a home‑care or hospice agency is desired but not required.
Bilingual.
Capability to work as a strong, committed member of our hospice interdisciplinary team of professionals.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a car for work.
Required Criteria
Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
Salary Range
$36.70 – $44.00 per hour.
