Job Description
•Develops and implements clinical programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and to enhance the overall quality of care.
•Collaborates on the designs and implementation of health management programs, clinical safety programs, medication stewardship opportunities, immunization services, and other clinical interventions.
•Assesses and optimizes clinical workflows and processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
•Identifies areas for improvement, streamlines processes and implements standardized clinical protocols and guidelines.
•Provides leadership, guidance, and support to clinical teams, which may include Pharmacists, Nurses and other Healthcare professionals.
•Sets performance expectations, conducts performance evaluations, fosters a collaborative and productive work environment, and supports professional development initiatives.
•Ensures clinical operations comply with applicable laws, regulations and Industry standards.
•Develops and implements quality assurance programs and performance improvement initiatives to monitor and enhance the quality and safety of clinical services.
•Collaborates with various stakeholders to drive collaborative clinical initiatives and ensure consistent alignment with organizational goals.
Education
Required: Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree

•10+ years of prior relevant work experience

•Demonstrated track record of success in leadership of remote clinical teams in a matrix environment
•Demonstrated ability to understand and break down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions in real time; track record of proactively tackling issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind
•Track record of performing under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics, and finding solutions that lead to client satisfaction and business growth and retention
•Track record of building high performing team and developing key talent; demonstrated passion for bringing new leaders along and helping them to realize their ability to impact the business
•Ability to effectively communicate, via differing modalities, and influence, while tailoring messaging to different audiences, combining executive presence with ability to inspire colleagues and clients
•Strong financial and business acumen. Ability to collaborate effectively across different business functions, different perspectives, and different styles of leadership
•Demonstrated track record of leading using CVS Health Leadership Competencies
•Ability to travel regularly as needed up to 50%
•Past industry-related experience preferred
•Works collaboratively with internal and external teams to build knowledge, drive innovation, and improve pharmacy services and resident outcomes or…
•Experience in successfully building, maintaining and supporting effective relationships across cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
•Active pharmacist license
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$155,000.00 - $240,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
