Job Overview
The Intact Family Services Case Manager provides in-home services to identify service needs while assessing child and family safety. The role includes direct casework management, counseling, or mental health services to children and families within agency policies and program context, utilizing human service principles in developing relationships, assessment, and service planning.
Responsibilities
Complete client assessments, develop strength-based service plans, and use the SACWICS data system.
Coordinate and facilitate services to community resources, provide crisis intervention, and assist families in locating employment, housing, daycare, and assistance with basic needs.
Arrange transportation for families to appointments and court proceedings; participate in court testimony and hearings.
Act as liaison with multiple public and private agencies to advocate and assist with services needs.
Assist in arranging and/or providing transportation for families such as school and medical appointments.
Work well in a team environment, research issues, develop solutions with minimal supervision, and demonstrate project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Maintain documentation, presentation, and problem‑solving skills, and build professional relationships. Position covers multiple counties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (required).
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the field (preferred).
Child Welfare (CWEL) licensure (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Physical exam/TB clearance.
