Overview
Make a meaningful impact in the Autism Community! As a Care Coordinator at Helping Hands Family, you will guide families through the intake process, ensure all necessary documentation is completed, and coordinate initial steps to begin ABA services. Are you ready to help families navigate their journey? This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a compassionate, customer-focused attitude and a drive to make a direct impact. This is a hybrid role: Monday - Thursday at our Support Center in King of Prussia and work from home/remote on Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Educate prospective clients on the services offered by Helping Hands Family.
Communicate with clients during the admissions process regarding status, timelines, and additional information needed.
Assist families in obtaining necessary paperwork for the intake process, including communication with diagnosing physicians.
Gather and verify insurance information to determine covered services.
Manage insurance case management, including obtaining authorizations and maintaining relationships with care coordinators.
Maintain data integrity in practice management and electronic medical records systems, including data entry and auditing.
Manage intake for potential new clients, medical records, data entry, and processing for new markets until a Program Support Specialist is onboarded.
What You Bring
1+ year(s) of healthcare customer service experience
Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other disabilities, a plus
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Passion for helping families access support for their children
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
