Description
We are looking for a full-time LPN passionate about all aspects of women’s health to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary care team and to serve as the first line of communication with patients in our clinical phone and messaging triage during office hours. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy practice, loves women’s health and building relationships with patients, is an excellent problem-solver and communicator, and is able to multi-task easily.

What you’ll do
Patient Care

Act as the first line of call in clinical communications for patients, within guidelines/protocols

Administer injections and medications

Provide direct clinical care as needed for minor check in visits or lab draws

Provide supporting paperwork and education for patients

Support clinic visits as appropriate and per training when needed

Administrative

Support the everyday flow of clinic acting as back up support for MA

Maintaining logs

Cleaning of rooms as needed and sterilization of instruments

Obtaining and transcribing patient medical records

Additional workflow items as the need arises

Qualifications

Current certification as a Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse

2+ years of experience in an outpatient preferred

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs

Lactation certification (IBCLC, CLC, CLE) preferred, but not required
