About the Role
The Wellness Coordinator is an essential part of the care team at Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) Davie, helping to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for adolescents participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role bridges clinical operations, client care, and family interaction—contributing to the emotional safety and consistency that our teens need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
Provide structure and supervision to adolescents ages 13–17 during evening IOP sessions
Monitor client safety during transitions, breaks, groups, and unstructured times
Support the clinical team in maintaining the therapeutic schedule and program flow
Greet and assist families during evening drop-off and pick-up with warmth and professionalism
Manage front desk duties: answering phones, logging attendance, and overseeing sign-in/out
Assist with wellness check-ins, incident documentation, and real-time updates to leadership
Respond to escalated behaviors using trauma-informed strategies and crisis protocol
Support program needs through light administrative and organizational tasks
Qualifications
Experience working with adolescents in a school, clinical, or community-based setting strongly preferred
Ideal for students or recent graduates in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling fields
Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and professionalism—especially with parents
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative team
Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
