Job Description:
Receive urgent, routine, pre-service, and retro authorization requests, and process prior authorization requests accurately and promptly.
Utilize various business applications to analyze, gather information, and enter prior authorization data necessary for claims adjudication.
Apply critical thinking to identify missing information and make authorization determinations based on clinical protocols and guidelines.
Communicate with internal and external customers to provide and obtain information, ensuring high-quality service and delivery.
