When you join RadNet as a Utilization Department LVN , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
Creates edits or cancels new or current patient orders, and notifies staff of changes when necessary.
Enters accurate information in the system for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and comment entry.
Works closely with referring physicians’ staff to obtain patient notes and begin process of authorizations.
Communicates and interacts with all departments effectively and professionally.
Ensures accurate, timely, and thorough documentation and completion of all necessary paperwork, according to established standards.
Follows all HIPAA, compliance, privacy and confidentiality standards.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Contacts medical groups and offices as needed to obtain information needed to complete cases
Imports referrals and patient paperwork into eRAD RIS.
Completes all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
California State Licensed Vocational Nurse
2 years of UM or medical job related experience preferred.
Experience of working with Microsoft excel, office and word is preferred.
Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong public relations skills, and exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Must be detail-oriented and organized, possess clerical skills, and have the ability to interact effectively with doctors, referring doctors and staff, patients, vendors, peers, and management
