Triage Nurse RN – OBGYN – Full Time 32hrs

Job Summary
Location: Medical Office Building – MWH, 717 N. 190th Street, Elkhorn, NE
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500.00
Hybrid remote option after 6‑month probation
Responsibilities
Perform telephone triage, determining patient needs and recording/reporting patient condition to providers, adhering to priorities 95% of the time.
Maintain accurate records and reports according to department policy (98% accuracy).
Consult patient charts while speaking with patients and follow protocols.
Return phone messages and provide test results per protocol (98% of the time).
Educate patients and families on health care topics and coordinate community resources.
Document encounters using SBAR format and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Handle prescription renewals and refills, ensuring accurate pharmacy requests.
Prepare exam rooms and equipment, support providers with test retrieval and medication reconciliation.
Assist in phlebotomy, proper specimen labeling, and quality control activities.
Ensure accuracy of order entry and documentation (≥ 98% error‑free).

Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (RN) – required.
Experience
Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience – required.
License/Certifications
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) – preferred at hire; required within 3 months.
Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, compact multistate license, or temporary permit while awaiting licensure – required.
