About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide telemedicine coverage during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of urgent care and primary care cases remotely. Most patient encounters involve non-emergent, outpatient-level issues such as:
Musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains, minor trauma)
Upper and lower respiratory infections (URI, sinusitis, bronchitis)
Urinary tract infections (UTI)
Medication refills and management
Lifestyle and wellness consultations (e.g., erectile dysfunction, sleep health)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate virtual medical consultations for patients across multiple states.
Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of telemedicine.
Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the EMR system.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostics when appropriate.
Adhere to all federal and state regulations and telemedicine best practices.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
Active medical licenses in 10+ states (50-state licensure highly preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency (telemedicine experience strongly preferred).
