Overview International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is a faith-based organization whose mission is to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We offer services such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. The Staff Care Manager will provide pastoral care to locations and staff, supporting spiritual, mental, and social health.
Responsibilities Recruit and supervise staff care team members
Attend trainings, network with other faith-based student organizations, and research programs/activities for staff care at IFI
Identify staff care needs and develop initiatives in collaboration with department heads, location leaders, and individuals
Create a calendar of staff care activities, initiatives, and resources for IFI as a whole organization
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role, sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners
Qualifications Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mission from the Lord to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students out of reverence for Jesus
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
Has a shepherd's heart for Internationals, a teachable and submissive spirit, and spiritual maturity
Committed to sharing faith in the context of personal relationships and investing deeply in students' lives
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Education/Experience Minimum of a Bachelor degree
3+ years' ministry experience, including working with and building multicultural teams
At least 2 years of experience leading a team, including providing oversight for fundraising expectations and performance evaluations
Certificate-level completion of Perspectives on the World Christian movement is preferred, and, if not existent, should be completed within three years of employment with IFI
Cross-cultural ministry experience preferred

Salary: $34,278 - $90,000 per year
