Men's Resource Case Manager

About This Position Open Door Mission's Garland Thompson Men's Center, working with men in need of emergency shelter and resources! This position manages a caseload of emergency services guests. They work to make sure each guest can meet their basic needs such as housing, identification, and childcare, connecting guests to community organizations and partners as needed.
Responsibilities Meet one-on-one with guests at the Garland Thompson Men's Center.
Connect guests to applicable agencies and programs according to their specific circumstances and needs.
Make sure guests get access to the resources they need.
Set goals with guests and hold them accountable for working toward them.
Maintain excellent documentation regarding caseload.
Provide emergency crisis counseling, problem-solving, and de-escalation when necessary.
Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience case managing in a social service organization.
Must be a team player, and have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Google G-suite and general computer operations.
A solid, visible relationship with Christ.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE... Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).
At least two years of case management experience in a social service organization.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
