Chrysalis is seeking to hire a full-time Residential Care Manager for In-Home Caregiving. This entry-level position supports individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives. The role offers a competitive wage and strong benefits for full-time employees.

Summary of responsibilities
The House Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the residential program by supervising, instructing, modeling, and assisting Residential Support Staff in the house. Responsibilities include maintaining high quality for the program, implementing person-centered plans, ensuring medical, financial, and recreational needs are met, and maintaining appropriate staff ratios and training. Coordination with schools, state workers, families, therapists, court, and residential placement is vital for success. The House Manager ensures supportive services align with Chrysalis values (Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, Accountability) to help individuals gain greater independence.
Minimum qualifications
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Experience in the disability field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated supervisory skills, ability to prioritize work, and ability to complete program documentation accurately and timely
Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations
Strong public relations skills when working with outside professionals and state employees
Flexible schedule to accommodate client office needs
Ability to manage personnel and program issues and continually improve program quality
Desired requirements
Experience and/or education in working with individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of person-centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals
Experience in supervising employees
Understanding of DSPD policies
Good judgment and crisis-management ability
Strong writing skills and ability to articulate issues
Ability to balance financial statements and maintain financial folders
Must be 21+ to drive company vehicles; reliable transportation and ability to use a vehicle on short notice
Car insurance, registration, and a valid NV driver’s license with no more than 2 minor moving violations
