Resident Care Manager – Regency Pacific Management.
We are seeking an experienced Resident Care Manager to collaborate with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, and direct the operations of the facility’s nursing department in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee individualized care plans for each resident.
Ensure medical and nursing treatments align with the care plan and resident wishes.
Plan, schedule, and revise MDS (implementation of RAPs and Triggers).
Certify that nursing personnel perform their work assignments effectively.
Confirm nurse documentation is informative and reflects resident responses.
Delegate, train, evaluate, and support care staff.
Coordinate with authorized government agencies for facility surveys.
Educate staff in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Maintain knowledge of nursing and medical practices, the MDS process, CMS directives, and related regulations.
Participate in continuing education and provide leadership for in‑service training.
Report to the Director of Nursing and fill in when required.
Qualifications
Licensed in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
At least one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
