Overview Resident Care Coordinator at Dallas Retirement Village
We are seeking an experienced Resident Care Coordinator to join our Assisted Living team at Dallas Retirement Village. This is a full-time role located in Dallas, Oregon within a unique all-inclusive senior living community that emphasizes hospitality and vibrant living for active older adults.
Responsibilities Provides direct supervision, training and coaching of resident care staff
Completes resident assessments, conducts care conferences and attends to immediate resident needs
Observes residents' health status, acts within scope of practice to address concerns, and reports significant changes or incidents to the RN or Administrator as appropriate
Communicates with resident families as needed
Provides direct resident care when required (e.g., blood pressure, weights, assisting with lifting/transferring/turning residents)
Follows all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior living
Minimum 2-year degree in Social Services or related field is preferred
Previous experience working with seniors with dementia is preferred
Previous leadership experience is preferred
Essential Job Duties Performs direct supervision, training and coaching of resident care staff

Monitors and documents residents’ health status, communicates with the RN or Administrator as appropriate
Maintains communication with resident families
Performs direct resident care when needed, including routine measurements and assistance with lifting/transferring/turning
Adheres to all facility policies and procedures
