Resident Care Coordinator The Resident Care Coordinator demonstrates strong and proven leadership abilities, overseeing daily care operations with confidence and accountability. This role requires the ability to lead, guide, and inspire a team of caregivers and clinical staff, ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities Team Management: Effectively organizes, trains, and supervises staff to maintain consistency and excellence in care.
Decision-Making: Demonstrates sound judgment in high-pressure situations while prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
Communication: Builds trust through clear, respectful, and compassionate communication with staff, residents, and families.
Operational Oversight: Coordinates care plans, schedules, and compliance measures to keep the department running smoothly.
Mentorship: Provides coaching and development opportunities to help staff grow professionally and stay engaged.
Qualifications Must be a certified RMA
Must have previous supervisory/lead tenure
Minimum of two years of experience in an Assisted Living or Long-Term Care setting
SP Certified
UAI Training
Ability to follow individualized care plans
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassion and understanding of the aging process
