Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm
Location: Primarily at Altamonte Springs office with some hybrid days.
Responsibilities
The Regulatory Response and Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all activities related to processing requests for clinical records from regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, Additional Development Requests (ADRs), Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) requests, Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) requests and Medicaid requests. This position is responsible for identifying performance improvement (PI) opportunities and for interdepartmental coordination of PI activities. The Coordinator will also participate in regulatory response activities including writing and revising policies and procedures, developing operational procedures, and developing and presenting educational materials.

Coordinate all phases of record request processing, including ADRs, RAC requests, and Medicaid audits.
Develop and implement procedures and processes for record request management.
Instruct medical, clinical, and administrative staff in audit and processing procedures.
Coordinate with departments to ensure adequate staff resources for timely audit and processing activities.
Establish and communicate needs to department managers or directors.
Prioritize record processing to meet submission deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care, or a related field.
Five years of nursing experience.
Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
At least one year of hospice and/or home‑health care management experience.
Registered Nurse State Licensure or Florida Compact Licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance improvement and quality assurance.
Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification.
