Position Purpose
The Clinical Educator is responsible for designing, evaluating, revising, and implementing nursing education programs, including new hire orientation. They act as advisers, role models, and mentors, exhibiting leadership, communication skills, and expertise. They also support quality improvement, data collection, and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate clinical education and orientation.
Prepare, deliver, and supervise clinical education.
Support continuous skill development and training.
Assist with competency and preceptor education.
Recommend best practices and monitor quality metrics.
Ensure quality care in accordance with standards and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Current RN licensure in New York State.
Master’s degree in nursing or active enrollment in a program.
At least four years of nursing experience.
Clinical and teaching experience.
Participation in continuing education.
Specialty credentialing preferred.
Maintains licensures and certifications.
Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
BLS certification required.

Salary Range
$36.70 – $49.40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
