Overview
To provide effective delivery of case management services, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, procedures and standards set by the Agency and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and to meet the physical, social, emotional needs and permanency goals of children served. This work promotes cross-team collaboration, cooperation and service integration across work units, departments and organizational boundaries.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Social Services field from an accredited school.
Minimum of one year of work experience in a social work setting in child welfare and/or developmental disabilities, preferably with children with developmental disabilities, and/or who are medically fragile.
Certification in the DCFS, Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol (CERAP), and Child Welfare Direct Service licensure; DCFS certification in Foster Family Home Licensing Standards and the Child Care Act examination preferred.
Valid Illinois Driver's License; Certificate of Proof of Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law.
Bilingual is a plus!
Salary: $50,336 - $54,000 per year
