Overview
Remote in TX. Target start date: Jan 5, 2026 (hard start). Assignment duration: 3 months (ending Apr 30 2026). Possibility to extend or convert: Yes. Daily schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM (OT available as needed). Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Call provider offices to request/validate facility and provider addresses, and/or collect medical records for the HEDIS project.

Enter change of address data into the system.

Upload records upon receipt and document all outreach efforts.

Work with MS Excel for data management.

Perform heavy chart monitoring and auditing of medical records.

Monitor the production of quality results, analyze, track, and trend the reporting results and report them to management.

Formulate and prepare ad‑hoc and additional reporting requirements.

Recommend, develop, and implement quality improvement plans with management.

Train providers and staff in continuous quality improvement methodologies and tools.

Prepare for and participate in meetings with state agencies, providers, and stakeholders.

Conduct audits to meet state and internal requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Resolve “pends” from the medical record retrieval vendor to ensure records are received, supporting member compliance and improving metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

3 years of related experience.

Valid driver’s license.

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Must have HEDIS experience.

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $19.00 – $21.00 / hr.
