Under the supervision of a Manager, the Quality Improvement Coordinator assists in the ongoing performance and quality improvement (PQI) across the program. This full‑time, benefit‑eligible role is Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm (with flexibility) and involves advanced administrative functions, data analysis, and the development of quality‑and‑efficiency initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a reduced caseload as an IRIS Consultant while managing quality‑specific responsibilities.
Provide support and expertise to program staff on best practices, state certification standards, and LSS standards.
Continuously assess program needs for process improvement and compliance.
Analyze data and maintain metrics, outcomes, client demographics, and incidents in electronic databases and spreadsheets.
Research and interpret state and federal regulations to assist in compliance and policy development.
Assist in preparing for ICA certification, providing training, developing tools, and maintaining the LSS Standards portal.
Provide analytical support to program staff.
Collaborate with IT to develop standardized, automated data collection methods.
Conduct program‑wide trainings and support the PQI team on projects.
Field questions on data accuracy and compliance.
Run reports in the electronic case management system and validate data with programs.
Participate in strategic reviews and development of program evaluation tools (case record reviews, surveys, assessment tools).
Liaise with DHS on record reviews, fraud assessment, and other regulatory matters.
Provide regular performance feedback, benchmarking metrics against other agency programs.
Assist in developing, evaluating, and maintaining business processes focused on performance and compliance.
Participate in additional projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, counseling, nursing, special education, or a related field and one year of supervised experience working with seniors and/or people living with disabilities; OR
Four years of direct experience in delivering social services to seniors and/or people living with disabilities in community settings; OR
Current IRIS Consultant in good standing who has received an exemption from meeting these criteria by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Strong commitment to enabling people to be in control of their lives and to provide meaningful opportunities.
Capacity to support individuals served to meet required IRIS policies and procedures.
Proficiency with smartphone, tablet, advanced analytic, and Microsoft skills.
Knowledge of human behavior, group dynamics, interpersonal relations, negotiation, and social interaction.
Knowledge of social problems and their effects on individuals.
Ability to organize, plan, and establish effective public and working relationships.
Ability to work independently and as a team; high attention to detail and confidentiality.
Fast‑paced environment with deadlines; strong initiative, organizational skills, high attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; motor vehicle check and LSS auto insurance requirements.
Ability to travel on day trips as required up to 50%; some overnight travel may be required but not frequently.
