Role and Responsibilities The Patient Implant Care Coordinator will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, provide cost estimates, and collect patient financial responsibilities. They will also manage the doctors' schedules and handle communications with patients and referring offices.
Provide concierge-level customer service when interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in person, or electronically.
Update and maintain patient insurance information.
Maintain the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient use of time.
Partner with the clinical team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work according to the patient schedule.
Collect payments from patients professionally and effectively.
Understand doctor treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans based on diagnosis.
Communicate treatment options and costs clearly to patients.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
