Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Palliative Care Physician for employment in Jersey City, NJ. The physician will work in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to ensure delivery of palliative care to patients and families. Opportunities exist for physicians with interests in inpatient or outpatient care. The physician will also be expected to participate in the education of staff, trainees, and the community.
Responsibilities Provide palliative care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Support opportunities for inpatient or outpatient care as appropriate to the role.
Participate in the education of staff, trainees, and the community.
Qualifications MD (or equivalent) and BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine; fellowship training preferred.
Eligible for NJ licensure or licensed in NJ.
Aspiring for growth opportunities.
Motivated to work in an organization dedicated to building a strong palliative care network.
