Overview The practice focuses on inpatient consultative services with a small outpatient presence. You will work with cases from the ICU, medical floors, surgical teams, ED, LVAD, and congenital heart patients. You will collaborate with Hospice and Palliative Medicine board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, a chaplain, and a music thanatologist as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities Part-time position, 0.8 FTE
Monday to Friday schedule with no call or weekends
Team-based care model with an interdisciplinary team of board-certified Hospice and Palliative care physicians, palliative care trained APCs, nurses, social workers and chaplains
Ample opportunity for teaching medical students and residents as faculty of two medical schools and local Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residencies

Compensation is between $293,912 and $329,798 per year
Qualifications Must be a board-eligible/board-certified Hospice and Palliative Physician
