Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager

Responsibilities
Serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of program services, identifying barriers to therapy and helping patients navigate those barriers.
Educate patients about the emotional and financial implications of a new diagnosis and the clinical treatment plan.
Enable patients by providing information about prescribed therapy, proper administration, coverage benefits, anticipated out‑of‑pocket costs, and financial assistance resources.
Empower patients to participate in their personal care process and triage them for non‑program needs such as social or other intervention programs.
Report adverse events or product complaints in accordance with SOP and good manufacturer practices.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Indiana or Kentucky.
2–3 years of oncology nursing experience; oncology clinical nursing experience with competence in educating and managing patients with a cancer diagnosis is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of clinical aspects of oncology including protocol therapy and common prescribing algorithms.
Experience in triage, call center utilization management, or case management is a plus.
Case management or clinical trial nurse experience is a plus.
General computer skills and ability to adapt to changing work assignments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and manage emotions.
Service‑oriented, proactive, and integrity‑focused; continuously striving for excellence.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
