As part of the continuum of care, Mirabella has a 21-bed Skilled Unit and a 20-bed memory care unit located on the second floor – both serve existing residents and the Tempe community at large. Wage Range: $24.00 - $26.00 /hour DOE
What You’ll Be Doing
You will provide individualized care to residents in Memory Care by providing a therapeutic environment that maintains residents’ highest level of physical, social and psychosocial well-being. You will be responsible for the overall programming and care of the Memory Care Center.
About You
Certified Activity Coordinator or Therapeutic Recreation professional with dementia training and relevant work experience required.
Two (2) years’ experience working with geriatric patients, specifically those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia in a memory care or other long-term care environment.
Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
