Job Description
This is a full-time field position, remote when not traveling locally. The candidate must be located in the Orlando, FL area due to regular local travel for in-person patient appointments. A $5000 sign-on bonus is offered.

As a Field Case Manager, you will work closely with treating physicians/providers, employers, customers, legal representatives, and the injured/disabled person to create and implement a treatment plan that returns the injured/disabled person back to work appropriately, ensures appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services, achieves maximum medical recovery, and returns to an optimal level of work and functioning. Your responsibilities include:

Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competency in the application of case management standards of practice.

Use advanced knowledge of types of injury, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, and job duties to advise on a treatment plan.

Interview injured individuals to assess recovery and determine whether injuries are occupational or non-occupational.

Collaborate with treating physicians/providers and utilize available resources to create and implement tailored treatment plans.

Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties to facilitate early return to work where practical.

Evaluate and modify case goals based on patient improvement and treatment effectiveness.

Independently manage workload, prioritizing cases and determining effective management approaches.

Attend injured worker appointments when appropriate, prepare status updates for customers, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.

Experience: 2+ years of clinical practice preferred; workers’ compensation experience preferred.

Skills: Ability to advocate effectively with physicians/providers, employers, and customers; ability to work independently; basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); strong written communication.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

URAC-recognized case management certification (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN, COHN/COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC, CMC).

Travel: Reliable transportation; able to travel for in-person appointments in assigned geography.

Internet: Reliable internet access.

Benefits

Benefits eligibility may differ by full-time/part-time status. Base pay ranges from $68,000 to $76,000 annually, with eligibility for a productivity-based bonus. Total compensation will depend on skills, experience, education, and performance metrics.
