About the Role Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an Integrated Care Coordinator to support mental health and performance programs for student-athletes. The coordinator serves as a key point of communication and organization between sports teams and behavioral health providers to ensure comprehensive, athlete-centered care. This role is responsible for coordinating referrals, scheduling, follow-up, and case management to optimize each athlete’s well-being and performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist clients in accessing behavioral health services, including intake, referrals, and follow-up care.
Coordinate appointments and communication between coaches, students, and care providers.
Maintain updated knowledge of community resources, treatment options, and support programs.
Provide around-the-clock availability through an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support.
Collaborate with coaching staff, families, therapists, psychiatry, and school personnel to ensure continuity of care.
Track progress and adherence to treatment plans, ensuring follow-through with scheduled services.
Partner with sports teams and coaches to address specific needs.
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with all company and client information.
Complete all required trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, and Experience Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in health administration or counseling education), public administration, business management, or another related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a mental health setting, including supervision, direct service, and program planning.
Two to three years of relevant field experience preferred.
Experience working with student-athletes and collaboration within a Sports Medicine or Athletic Department setting is highly desirable.
