Overview INFORMATICS OFFICE ASSISTANT at Mountain View Hospital
Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Informatics Office Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary Provides excellent customer service for the Electronic Health Record user based on outstanding communication and problem resolution process. Functions as an effective team member by answering phones, creating tickets, or reviewing workflow with end users within the electronic health record. Supports projects and implementations where assigned. Will manage the ticketing system by reviewing the inbound ticket queue and assigning requests to appropriate Informatics Specialists. May be expected to document and describe end-user workflow to help the Informatics Specialists fix or optimize workflow. Respond to helpdesk requests for assistance with software issues. Communicate issues to software vendors. Relies on experience and judgment to achieve goals. Works under general supervision; reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of self-initiation, creativity and latitude is required.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.
Qualifications Education/Certification: Associate degree in a related area or 2–5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Will consider relevant clinical experience.
Experience: One year minimum clinical experience. Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation preferred but not required.
Equipment/Technology: Use of computers is a must. Experience with Mountain View clinical operations, billing and reporting requirements preferred. Experience with Electronic Health Records and Practice Management applications. Experience with developing and providing technical training.
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with end users, including all personality types and aptitudes.
Interpersonal: Work well in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills. Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team.
Performance: To perform necessary duties and responsibilities as listed below. Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented, and patient. Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
