Job Description
The ASK Academy (A—titudes, S—kills, K—nowledge), a 6th-12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is a STEM innovation school with a project-based approach to teaching and learning and has been noted as among the top 3% of schools in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. The scholars follow one of two career pathways—Biomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design.
The ASK Academy has entered its second decade and is searching for a Gifted Case Manager.
Requirements include: NM teaching license with endorsement in gifted and familiarity with ASK’s STEM focus and project-based learning approach.
Responsibilities include: case management for a group of scholars in grades 6th–12th with IEPs, including supporting them in small group, push-in, and individual instruction as well as IEP preparation. Ideal candidates seek to make connections with scholars, families, and colleagues to promote scholar success.
The position is available for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a benefits eligible position. Applicants may be eligible for a caseload management stipend of up to $5,000 per full academic year. Staff members at The ASK Academy have preference in the school’s student enrollment lottery.
