Continuous Quality Improvement Clinical Analyst
Overview: The position has responsibility for ensuring that data entered into the electronic health record (EHR) meets compliance with quantitative and qualitative service requirements and regulations including Licensure, HIPAA, Medicaid/Medicare, third-party insurances, and agency policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Monitor identified non-compliance areas, implement corrective actions, analyze trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Interpret requirements and regulations and ensure they are reflected in processes and procedures used by staff in the EHR so that billing and documentation meet regulations and can be verified through accurate data representation and reporting.
Provide training to staff to ensure clinical content and required data elements meet best practice guidelines as well as regulatory and reporting requirements.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding client records and internal investigations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of four years in process development, data gathering, data analysis and customer support; minimum of three years in providing clinical services.
Safe Driving Record: Valid Virginia driver’s license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal violations in the last five years).
Background Check: Background check and drug screen required for offered positions.
Work Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday; day shift. This is an office-based position.
Provide critical support to ensure data integrity for clinically delivered services.
