Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Director of Business Development.
Cultivate referral relationships, manage assigned territory, and complete patient assessments.
Make sales contacts and analyze referral and admission data from the assigned territory.
Collaborate with the admissions team, nursing staff, and other internal and external staff to facilitate referral conversion.
Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement related to customer service, the referral/admission process, and patient/referral source satisfaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives.
Qualifications Education: Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Licensure: Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license; rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience preferred.
