Overview The ideal Staff Development Coordinator is detail-oriented, passionate about training and educating stakeholders to provide the best care possible to residents.
How You Will Make a Difference Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing department employees, in compliance with regulations.
Regularly check the competency of CNAs, ensuring positive resident care and meeting developmental needs of direct care staff; provide one-on-one instruction as needed.
Provide skill training to new staff in identified deficits before allowing them to perform tasks with residents.
What You Need To Make a Difference Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a long‑term or health‑care setting; long‑term care preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to long‑term care.
Compensation & Benefits $7,500 sign‑on bonus for RNs.
Scheduling: Experience and flexibility to work a medical cart if needed; on‑call 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month.
