If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Supervisor of Programs - Supports Coordination .
What You Will Be Doing Working full-time as a Supervisor of Programs , you will be responsible for providing supervision including hiring, training, coaching/mentoring, evaluating, and disciplining staff. You will assess clinical needs for services, review service recommendations/requests, negotiate services when needed, and perform triage/crisis functions. You will ensure all service delivery standards such as Medicaid, CARF, and program standards are met in a timely, quality manner. Additionally, you will facilitate and coordinate services with other providers and community agencies. You will complete intake assessments to determine eligibility for services. You will have a small caseload as the Primary Clinician, providing culturally responsive Support Coordination functions such as linking/monitoring services, benefits, advocacy, and person-centered planning.
What We Require This position requires a Master's Degree in Human Services and at least 5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Licensure as LMSW, LLP, or LPC is required. Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and standards governing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is essential. Candidates should have advanced computer skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff.

We Look Forward to Meeting You! Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Physical Efforts : Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing, with occasional light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending. Coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot is required.
Working Conditions : Office environment with noise from computers, copiers, and telephones. Extended use of computer screens may cause eyestrain. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites is possible. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
