Case Manager Supervisor
Volunteers of America Eastern Washington (VOA Spokane) delivers housing‑first, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented services to individuals impacted by homelessness, poverty, and co‑occurring behavioral health disorders. Our programs span a continuum of care including permanent supportive housing, youth and family services, low‑barrier shelters, and medical respite.
This position provides leadership and supervision for Case Managers serving youth ages 13–22 within VOA’s licensed programs—Crosswalk Youth Shelter, Aston Bleck Apartments, and Alexandria’s House—which provide safety, stability, and support for young people navigating crisis, pregnancy, homelessness, or transition to independence.
Pay Range
Base: $28.00/hr – $30.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
What You’ll Do
Supervise, coach, and support a team of Case Managers serving youth in licensed programs.
Drive engagement and communication with youth that embodies empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence—modeling these behaviors for your team.
Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing feedback to ensure quality, compliance, and trauma‑informed practice.
Oversee case management activities, ensuring documentation accuracy, timely follow‑up, and adherence to program standards.
Collaborate across VOA programs and with community partners to connect youth and families to resources.
Support staff in managing crises, maintaining professional boundaries, and practicing de‑escalation techniques.
Promote equity and inclusion through culturally responsive supervision and decision‑making.
Exercise prudent stewardship of agency resources and uphold ethical, professional behavior at all times.
Partner with leadership to align program outcomes, data reporting, and grant compliance requirements.
What You’ll Bring
Candidates must meet DCYF licensing standards (WAC 110‑145‑1440) and one of the following qualification pathways:
Option 1 – Master’s Path
Master’s degree in Social Work , Psychology , Counseling , or related field
1+ year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
1+ year of supervisory, lead, or team coordination experience
Option 2 – Bachelor’s Path
2+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
1+ year supervisory or leadership experience
Option 3 – Experience Path
5+ years full‑time experience in a behavioral health, housing, or social services field, including staff supervision or mentoring experience
Additional Requirements
At least One Year of Supervisor/Manager experience
AAC licensure (or eligibility upon hire)
CPR/First Aid/BBP certification, Food Handler’s Permit, Valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Negative TB test (provided at no cost upon hire)
Successful completion of DCYF background check and driving record review
Preferred
Experience using Credible EHR , HMIS , or similar systems
Familiarity with ASO , TIEH , or FCS grant frameworks
