What You Will Do to Change Lives
Under direct supervision, serves as a primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders by assisting them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
Shifts Available
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Full-time, 1.0 FTE.)
Compensation
Expected starting wage range $21-25.15/hour. Realistic offer $21-$22.86.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent and three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services; OR Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Social Services
Must possess at least 1 year of experience providing services as a Substance Use Specialist
San Bernardino County FACT, ACT, and MAPS programs experience with the following educational credit: at least thirty semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in behavioral or social science, or sixty semester (90 quarter) units of completed college coursework, which includes 15 semester units in behavioral science, Psych Tech courses and Alcohol and Drug Certificate courses acceptable.
One year experience providing mental health services including interviewing and referring participants and performing crisis intervention, or three years experience in a behavioral health department with direct participant contact, or Bachelor's degree in behavioral science and six months experience providing mental health services including interview, referral, crisis intervention.
Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, attend meetings, or company vehicle if available.
