Job Summary: The Crisis Specialist QMHP - Office or Residential Based is responsible for providing recovery-focused, person-centered, trauma-informed care. This role involves case management, assessment, service coordination, linking consumers to resources, and crisis prevention. The QMHP collaborates with clients, first responders, and community stakeholders to address mental health crises and plan for relapse prevention.

Applicants Should Know:

Best practices for treating complex behavioral health, developmental, and co-occurring disorders

Recovery-oriented and trauma-informed principles

Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral approaches, and person-centered care

Community resources; case management principles; assessment of client needs; crisis intervention techniques

Qualified Mental Health Clinicians (QMHP) should embrace trauma-sensitive practices, provide suicide-safe care, and foster a supportive, equitable environment. They work independently with clinical oversight, providing individual, family, and group interventions, crisis assessment, and case management, sometimes using personal transportation. The environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with diverse community members.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field required; Master's preferred.

License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Experience: Bilingual preferred.

Hours: Full-Time, Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Salary: $23.25 - $24.41/hour, with shift differential pay.
