Job Responsibilities Monitor bail conditions of individuals ordered by the Court into the Intoxicated Intervention Program, including scheduling and providing regular supervision in the office.
Conduct program orientation and intake/admission with the person served, including a brief psycho/social history.
Conduct and record Random Breathalyzer Tests and Urinalysis Drug Testing.
Perform all duties associated with the SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) bracelet.
Provide accurate and complete written reports to the court, including regular updates and non-compliance reports.
Work as a team to share all aspects of caseload responsibilities, including intakes, writing court letters, obtaining essential court case information, ongoing CCAP checks, treatment updates, meetings with persons served, and staffings of cases.
Maintain accurate written and electronic records with detailed documentation of all contacts, referrals, and pertinent information related to pending cases.
Make necessary treatment referrals and monitor progress in treatment; provide referrals for community support services.
Collect and process program fees according to program policies and procedures.
Maintain schedule flexibility to include office coverage when full-time staff are out of the office.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Social Work, or related field. An Associate’s degree with 5 years of experience in a justice-involved case manager position may be considered.
Valid driver’s license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements preferred.
Meet all employee requirements including references, criminal background check, drug test, and driver’s license check.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Communication: ability to provide information in writing and orally to a variety of individuals (persons served, supervisor, colleagues, program partners).
Technological Aptitude: ability to use general technologies (Email, Internet, Microsoft 365, Windows, Word, Excel).

Knowledge of Evidence-Based Principles (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Person-centered care) and fidelity models; complete agency-required EBP training within six months of hire unless directed otherwise.

Program Specific Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Wisconsin Criminal Justice system; knowledge of local treatment programs (substance use, mental health, domestic violence); knowledge of community resources (housing, education, public transportation); proficiency with the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access Program (CCAP).
Physical Demands Duties require good hearing and verbal communication; hand and finger dexterity for data entry and typing; may involve occasional walking to the Kenosha County Courthouse.
Work Environment Most work is in the office; observe and supervise drug screens; individuals served may have complex needs including substance misuse and/or mental health issues.
