Case Manager, Employment Services

Pay range: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (based on skills and experience).
Overview
The Case Manager of Employment Services will oversee State and Federally funded employment programs, and perform employment‑related activities to help refugee clients find jobs and work toward self‑sufficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Understands State and Federal program contracts in detail, ensures contract requirements are met and opportunities maximized.
Teaches small groups of clients basic workplace overview, job preparation, interview skills and job safety requirements.
Builds strong working relationships with businesses, community‑based organizations, and partner agencies; maintains consistent communication to coordinate services and develop job placement opportunities.
Works with targeted businesses and industries to develop potential work sites and employment opportunities; negotiates worksite training agreements or special accommodations; monitors and tracks success after placement; serves as primary contact and maintains database of business partners.
Assesses experience, skills and limitations of clients; identifies suitable job opportunities; assists clients in filling employment applications, setting up interviews, arranging transportation, and accompanying to interviews.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; preferably in Human Services, Social Work or related discipline.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate well, build relationships and partnerships with clients, employment partners, state and federal program staff, headquarters and field office staff.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and database programs.
Good sense of humor and pleasant, diplomatic manner; ability to work with others and thrive in a team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to the mission of USCRI and interest in contributing to its long‑term success.
Clean valid driver’s license and insurance; reliable motor vehicle.

Training Requirement
Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training.
Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.
Physical Demands
Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
Repetitive motion; prolonged sitting and standing; sustained visual and mental application and demands.
Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
