Overview
Case Manager - Bilingual (Creole/English) at Easterseals Florida, Inc. Salary is $43,417 per year (plus insurance and time off benefits). This role is for the Treasure Coast Early Steps program in West Palm Beach and serves children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays. Services are provided in the families’ homes or in other natural environments (daycare, playground, etc.).
What You’ll Do
Serve as the single point of contact in assisting families in gaining access to available services in the community
Obtain information on available funding sources to help meet the needs of the children
Provide parent education using an evidence-based program to give strategies to the child’s caregiver based on the child’s and family’s needs during routine activities
Qualifications
Bilingual skills (Creole/English)
A bachelor’s degree or higher with emphasis in psychology, social work, health education, interdisciplinary sociology, early childhood, child development, or special education (college transcript and copy of diploma required)
One year of hands-on experience with young children and families in a teaching, case management, or counseling role, or with individuals with special needs and/or developmental delays in a case management role
Bachelor’s degrees in other fields require a minimum of 3 years of experience in case management, teaching, or counseling with children with disabilities
Ability to meet approved driver qualifications to drive a personal vehicle for program-related needs (minimum age 21 and good driving history)
