What will you do as a Case Manager? As a Case Manager in the Florida Case Management Organization (CMO), you will provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history and an open dependency case. This includes providing services/linkage/coordination of care for high-need youth in out-of-home care and engaging kin and fictive kin adults to increase protective capacities and provide a stable, safe home for the youth served.
A typical day includes crisis management, linking youth and caregivers to service providers, writing court reports, testifying in court, and completing face-to-face engagement with youth and family in the community. A large amount of time is spent face-to-face with high-need teenagers; work hours vary based on client needs and include an on-call schedule for after-hours coverage (nights/weekends).
What does this position offer? Starting Pay Ranges:
CM Tier 1 - $23.56 hourly
CM Tier 2 - $24.76 hourly
CM Tier 3 - $25.72 hourly

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Must have a valid Driver's License and meet credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as required by the department
Must pass a drug screening and undergo an extensive background check
