Job Description
FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!

Position Summary: Responsible for providing case coordination to clients, families, and collateral parties. Advocates for clients and families in navigating human services and collaborates with multiple providers such as DCYF, schools, medical providers, and other agencies to ensure appropriate delivery of services. Monitors the residential program while maintaining Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) in the milieu setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide case coordination to clients, families and collaterals.

Advocate for clients/families navigating human service agencies.

Collaborate on cases with DCYF, schools, medical providers, and other service providers.

Monitor residential program and maintain Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) in the milieu setting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in social work or significant residential/childcare experience.

Willingness and capability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues.

Capability to implement child management techniques, including passive physical restraint.

Excellent communication skills.

Current driver’s license and reliable transportation with at least 3 seats in addition to driver’s seat and proof of automobile insurance.

Bilingual/ASL proficiency compensated by an additional 6% above base pay.

Multilingual proficiency compensated by an additional 8% above base pay.

Physical Requirements:

Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, using walkways, stairs, and/or elevators.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Ability to communicate by voice, use sight and hearing.

Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more.

Ability to pick up 10 lbs or more.

Ability to be trained in and implement de-escalation techniques using Handle with Care as necessary.
