Description of the Role:

ameriCARE Tampa Bay is seeking a Care Coordinator that will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions and participating in the employee hiring and onboarding process. This role encompasses a combination of organizational, clerical and customer service duties, including interviewing prospective new team members, managing office resources, and delivering excellent customer support. The Care Coordinator plays a critical role in creating a positive work culture and building a formidable team while upholding the company's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources: May participate in the hiring process by completing candidate pre-screening, coordinating and participating in onsite interviews and preparing the candidate's onboarding plan.

Care Coordination: Participates in the Client Home Assessment to understand the client's needs; introduces caregivers to new clients and performs initial caregiver onboarding with client.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to department heads and caregivers; assist with schedule changes, training resources and data retention.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in office management, customer service, or administrative support roles; experience in hiring or HR functions is a plus.

Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong attention to detail, solid written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software and automated time management systems. Customer service mindset.

Personal Attributes: Proactive, resourceful, collaborative, ethical, discreet, and able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure. Flexibility to deal with rapidly changing business conditions/priorities.

Expected Hours and Pay Periods:

Role is part-time (~10-15 hours/week).

Paid pre-launch activities: training on systems and processes.

Bi-weekly pay on Fridays with one week delay.
