The Behavioral Health Care Manager, SKI (Specialty Kids Intervention) BCBA is responsible for all aspects of services to IEHP members with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or intellectual disabilities and children with severe behavioral needs. This role includes reviewing requests for services, applying clinical criteria, reviewing treatment plans, authorizing services, providing call support, case management, care coordination, and referral support.
Responsibilities
Review requests for services and apply clinical criteria.
Apply clinical expertise to review treatment plans and authorize services.
Provide effective call support and case management.
Coordinate care and referrals as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members, members and families, community agencies, and health care organization medical teams.
Model relationship‑based care and promote education on behavioral health and whole health principles.
Commit to IEHP’s Quality Program goals, including HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation.
Education & Requirements
Three (3) years of experience working in a setting offering services to individuals with autism, developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Significant experience reviewing Behavioral Health Treatment Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Experience leading a team is preferred.
Experience in an HMO or psychiatric/county hospital facility is preferred.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field with ABA specialization (accredited).
Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Key Qualifications
Deep knowledge of Autism, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and Special Education.
Familiarity with Managed Care and discharge planning.
Skilled in evidence‑based communication (e.g., Motivational Interviewing).
Understanding of multicultural communities and mental health.
Commitment to addressing bias and judgment in care.
Knowledge of whole health and integrated principles.
Awareness of community resources and health plan benefits.
High proficiency with MS Office; experience with electronic medical records.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
Ability to conduct telephonic clinical mental health assessments and coordinate care.

$91,249.60 – $120,910.40 USD annually
