Overview Care Coordinator – Administrative Care Coordinator at Lifemark Health Group .
Location: 2756 Chamberland St, Ottawa, ON K4K 0B8. Status: Permanent Part Time.

Primary Responsibilities Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient’s first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan
Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to ensure accurate information
Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient’s medical record
Collect payment at time of service and maintain accurate insurance claims to third party funders
Complete data entry and billing for third party funders
Coordinate courier packages (in or outgoing) and process incoming and outgoing email, mail and faxes
Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director
Qualifications & Core Competencies High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
High level of organizational and multi-tasking skills in a busy and fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a physiotherapy or private health care clinic setting is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Computer savviness and data entry skills
Flexible and adaptable to change
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field is an asset
