Job Description Under the supervision of the Clinical Program Manager, the case manager is an essential provider of recovery-oriented case management services, skill building, and medication education. The case manager conducts routine psycho-social-emotional needs assessments, completes Person-Centered Recovery Plans, assists youth, adults, and their families with accessing community resources, provides rehabilitative services, and initiates crisis intervention when needed. All services are documented in an electronic health record and provided in collaboration with a multidisciplinary recovery team. Services provided promote recovery and wellness, community integration, independent living within the community and improved quality of life. A high level of detailed electronic documentation is required and adherence to company and state guidelines is expected. A minimum of 55% of hours worked are required to be direct service.
Responsibilities Conduct psycho-social-emotional needs assessments and complete Person-Centered Recovery Plans.
Assist youth, adults, and families with accessing community resources and providing rehabilitative services.
Initiate crisis intervention when needed; document all services in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary recovery team to deliver recovery-oriented services.
Prioritize needs during crisis situations and engage in regular meetings and training opportunities.

Hourly Salary Range: $21.46 – $30.71
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment.
Demonstrated aptitude to connect with people.
Valid Texas Driver's License and maintained approved driver status throughout employment.
If degree is not in Human Services, a minimum of 24 credits in a human services field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Services.
One year of experience in wellness and recovery support services in mental health, substance use, and/or crisis intervention and screening.
Pursuit of clinical licensure in counseling, behavior analysis, family therapy, social work or a related field.
Advanced licensure; Licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
Bilingual in ASL or Spanish.
Experience in concurrent documentation.
Salary reflects eligibility for differentials as listed.
Differentials Up to $4.00/hour – Tenure with BTCS
$0.75/hour – Bilingual
$Up to 2.00/hour – prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
$1.00/hour – Masters Degree in Human Services
$1.00/hour – Advanced Licensure
$0.50/hour – LCDC Licensure
